As the Activities Director, I have the unique privilege of designing and leading a comprehensive activities program that brings purpose and joy to our residents’ daily lives. With a professional background in graphic design and communication, I bring a creative and expressive approach to every event, activity, and interaction.
My training allows me to design visually engaging experiences that capture attention, spark imagination, and encourage resident participation. From beautifully themed party decorations to creative communication boards and handouts, every detail is crafted to be both accessible and inspiring. Every activity is thoughtfully planned around the interests, needs, and abilities of the remarkable women who call Jennie Caldwell home. From festive indoor events like Circus Day and Luau Parties to Summer Camp Days and occasional outings, we aim to spark the inner child and create moments of wonder and delight. Daily exercise sessions are offered and customized to accommodate each resident’s physical ability.
These gentle, guided routines promote mobility, strength, and overall wellness—while also encouraging camaraderie among participants. Our home also features a well-stocked craft room, a variety of card and board games, and a full calendar of creative workshops and group activities. These offerings are not only fun—they’re carefully designed to support cognitive health and stimulate each resident’s imagination. Whether it’s painting, puzzles, storytelling, or shared laughter over a game of cards, every activity foster connection and community. My goal is to ensure that every woman at Jennie Caldwell feels engaged, valued, and at home.
