Meet Our Nurse

The Vital Role of Our Contract Nurse at Jennie Caldwell Memorial Home

At Jennie Caldwell Memorial Home, an independent retirement residence exclusively for women, we are deeply committed to promoting dignity, wellness, and independence for each of our residents. One of the cornerstones of this commitment is the compassionate and skilled care provided by our dedicated contract nurse.

Meet Our Contract Nurse: Renee Anker, RN, BSN

We are proud to introduce Renee Anker, RN, BSN, who has faithfully served as the contract nurse at Jennie Caldwell Memorial Home for over 11 years. With more than three decades of nursing experience in emergency and trauma care, medical-surgical units, surgical recovery, and family care, Renee brings a steady hand and a wealth of knowledge to our community.

A retired Sergeant Major of the United States Army and combat veteran, Renee is also a nationally and state-certified EMT. Her military background, combined with her clinical expertise, creates a powerful foundation of professionalism, discipline, and heart. She is highly respected not only for her skills, but for her deep compassion and enduring commitment to the women of Jennie Caldwell.

Currently enrolled in the Purdue University Global Nurse Practitioner Program, Renee is expected to graduate in July 2026. Despite this significant professional advancement, she has made it clear: she has no intention of leaving Jennie Caldwell Memorial Home. Her dedication to our mission and to the residents she serves remains unwavering.
